This all depends on your variables of interest, but I would argue that intelligence and education may be variables that are often relevant for the questions we are studying.

Looking at the thousands of flattened houses in LA I wonder again, as I replied yesterday, how can you compensate people for loosing their entire home with all materialized memories in it?

Yesterday, my colleague and I presented our project on climate risk labels in their Netherlands. One economist asked, why individual homeowner should engage in individual adaptation measures when the government ultimately pays for the damage anyways.
