The Bruins have fired Jim Montgomery and announced associate coach Joe Sacco will become the interim head coach.

The Canucks announce that star forward J.T. Miller is taking an indefinite leave of absence for personal reasons.

“Right now, our sole focus is making sure that J.T. knows the entire organization is here to support him," Canucks GM Patrick Allvin said in a statement. #Canucks

The Capitals announce that Alex Ovechkin is listed as week-to-week with a lower-leg injury.

Ovechkin collided with Utah forward Jack McBain during Monday's game. While not ideal, it likely could've been much worse based on the collision.
