Our P2/3 statisticians were out in force today! We took our learning outside for a playground hunt to practice using tally marks. Watching them collect and then combine their data as a class was the best way to spend the morning. @mathsweek.scot #mathsweekscotland #outdoorlearning

More than 1,800 started primary across Renfrewshire.

Education convener Cllr Emma Rodden said: “Starting school is an exciting milestone. I hope everyone had an amazing first day."
