i'm absolutely gutted to hear about the school shooting in tumbler ridge bc. 10 people died, and 25 others were wounded. 2 other people were found dead in a nearby residence. the whole country is in shock. my heart goes out to the families and friends of the victims, and to the whole town.

sadly, we don't get them this far west. 😕 our provincial bird is the steller's jay. they are gorgeous, noisy, bossy and very smart. i was adopted by two youngsters a couple of years ago. they would tap on the window of my study demanding peanuts every day. 💙🙂🕊
