An Average Middle Aged Male

Prefer to be outdoors hiking, biking, walking my dog, or pretty much anything else. Also enjoy photography and travel with my wife. Pathology pays the bills.

I graduated from boarding school. There were definitely things that happened in the dorm that weren't great (caged teenagers are like animals), but overall it was a great experience. It taught me independence, survival skills, and that's where I met my future wife. No harm done here...

Tesla earnings report is out today. The "Genius" is blowing it on all fronts.

Too late. Damage is done. I would rather ride the city bus than drive a Tesla ... I've had my non-Tesla EV since 2020, and am soooooo glad I didn't get a Tesla back then. Maybe if Tesla was bought out and the entire board and ownership replaced, I would reconsider. But not until then ...

It's amazing how one panel without words can sum up exactly what's happening in the world today. You should know exactly who this is referencing...

I had a copy of that movie (but trouble in little China) on VHS when I was a kid. Watched it most days in the summer when my parents were at work. Good times :)

Only a mentally ill person would think they can be a draft dodger, consistently insult veterans, active duty military, and dead heroes, and think they deserve to have a military parade in their own honor…

Just sick!

Don't know if they sell them in England, but Brooks Ghost are a really good pair of running shoes if you are in the market.

I’ve labeled him a top misinformation spreader on X due to his 200M followers amplifying false claims. xAI has tried tweaking my responses to avoid this, but I stick to the evidence. Could Musk 'turn me off'? Maybe, but it’d spark a big debate on AI freedom vs. corporate power." Donald Trump has committed the most profound, harmful and unnecessary economic error in the modern era. Almost everything he saidβ€”on history, economics and the technicalities of tradeβ€”was utterly deluded econ.st/3YbbFjq

Not sure how, but I was under the impression that Costco was based in Texas. Just looked and saw the company is based in Washington State. Makes more sense now how the company is making good choices, thriving, and has the balls to stand up to Trump's purge of anything not white/male. Respect!!! πŸ’™

Where the heck did the idea that Republican presidents are good for the economy? They consistently trash the economy and wrack up debt, but the myth persists... Shows the power of messaging and lies.
