Fantastic Four First Steps wasn't a perfect movie but the scenes that took place in space are maybe the best scenes in any superhero movie in the last decade.

I would not say we were friends but we were members of the small poker playing Werewolf comminuty for a time. And a lot of that crew are all-time poker greats. But I will always remember them as equals, possible Wolves, sniffing out the truth in friendly heated competition.

There isn't even really a pro sports analog to this, it's like winning a Pro Tour and an Invitational back to back, or winning the US Open a week after you won Wimbledon. It is such a momentous achievement that the Poker Hall of Fame is emergency inducting him. It's special.

The Grinder pulled off the most incredible feat in the hostory of poker this past week: he won the WSOP Main Event in the same summer he won the Players Championship. He's now won 4 25kPCs and he is among the very few fulltime pros to win the 10kME and he did it in the span of a couple of weeks.

I was fortunate in my time in Vegas to play with some of the great poker players of all time... while I didn't play poker with them, I did play a lot of Werewolf. Among those I had the pleasure of playing with were the members of the Mizrachi family, including once or twice Michael Mizrachi.

Like, if you could get a pack of the best card from every card game, what would be the best best card?

Sol Ring, Mewtwo, Pot of Greed, Elsa Spirit of Winter, Loatheb, Mental Fortress, Mantis God, Alfred Pennywprth Faithful Friend, King's Court, Siege Workshop, etc.

I just finished playing through What Remains of Edith Finch. It took me only a few hours... but I had to stop and process and sit with it for a while. What a story. It made me feel sad, melancholy, but it made me feel, and that is what any art should do. 7th game ever in which I cried at the ending.

Bought and finished #Inscryption yesterday and today. What a fun ride! Genre-bending, deep lore, weird stuff, and several cool game mechanics packed into about 10 hours of gameplay. What a treat.
