More thoughts on gov't opening. My state paid out SNAP benefits for November lawfully on Friday. Now that idiot is trying to claw it back. Why would you do that if you are voting tonight to fund it. Stupid, idiotic, ridiculous, infuriating and disgusting is what this government is.

Further thoughts on opening the government with no deal on ACA. I am happy families will eat with their SNAP benefits restored but now many will have to adjust for higher healthcare premiums. I hate that and we know Republicans will renege on their promise to have real discussions.

I thought the government wouldn't open until after a December congressional vote in on the red states. That would counter the Dem congresswoman they haven't voted in. Now that will happen if the government opens. Once sworn in a vote can happen on the house floor to release Epstein files.

In Oregon the SNAP benefit were distributed last night, paused today by SCOTUS. How many Trump supports are going to go ahead and spend that money when most red states did not fund SNAP yet? I just find the whole thing somehow hypocritical and morally corrupt. My brain is confused & can't explain.

Speaker Johnson's plan is to stall seating Adelita Grijalva until Newly elected MAGA Congressman MIke Van Epps can cancel out her vote to the release the Epstein Files. Hence the delay in reopening the government.

Here's something I think of when I go out places with my son who is I/DD, non-verbal, can't read or write. When he has to go to the bathroom I always have to go with him to make sure he goes into the correct bathroom. Especially at restaurants that may have cute little signs and not "Men".
