Anyone else have an obscene amount of ebooks? I am going to have to spreadsheet the crap outta the titles, authors, and blurb. I need to be able to search for when I remember some description but not the name of the book.

I also read a majority of indie or self published authors. Some are my favorite so I'll post about them a lot.

Tropes: Grumpy/Sunshine, Who hurt you, He falls first, slow burn, Strong FMC doesn't need anyone to rock this shit, found family, second chance beginnings, midlife, RH, why choose, academy, fated mates, instalove, Dark and morally grey MCs, the weird-neurospicy - MC somehow saves the world, mm ,wlw

Genres I tend to stay in: PWF, Urban Fantasy, Fantasy, SciFi, Cozy, UF Romance, Romantasy, Dark Romance, Pure Smut, Monster romance stuff, Paranormal/preternatural (Vamp/Demon/Shifter/Magic wielder), BiPIOC and Queer authors and main characters. Feel good books. Mysteries in a UF setting.

Or make me wonder what the f*ck I just read was, and why I'm looking for a sequel. Make me think, or allow my brain to leave reality behind.

Criteria for 5*:
Make me feel something. Make me lose track of time. Make me rant about the emotional rollercoaster, or need to talk over the intricacies with a friend. Make me laugh, cry, pace, or look up and realize it's 2am on a Tuesday and I have to work in the morning.

...unless the reason I hated it was because the author got me in the feels. I can hate a book, but it can still be good. But if I DNF it has to have some issues. Usually huge plot holes, consistency issues, or I can't get past the writing style. I might also DNF if the author is a twat 🤷‍♀️
