07.06.2025 06:41 — 👍 5 🔁 1 💬 0 📌 0It was nice of Nigel Farage to give his new Cllr a lift to Scotland to defect… or is he still representing the people of Renfrew from London? He should resign and give his constituents the chance to be represented by a local Labour Cllr like they voted for.

Nigel Farage’s Reform are soft on Russia, voted against your rights at work, and want to sell off the NHS.
They’re no friend to working people.
When they bring division and hate, we must choose solidarity and hope.
Heading home after a lovely weekend in Derry with pals. Weather was glorious and the pubs had Tennent’s - so couldn’t have asked for more.
We inadvertently came on the anniversary of the Good Friday Agreement which wasn’t lost on us. Definitely one of the best wee city’s going, well worth a visit.
Well, would you look at that. www.politico.eu/article/scot...

Tonight, MPs voted for the Employment Rights Bill to start delivering the new deal for working people.
That’s the difference that a Labour Government working with trade unions can make.
For generations, North Sea oil and gas workers have powered our industries, warmed our homes and kept our country moving.
We will be dependent on gas for decades to come, and we can’t rely on imports to meet our needs.
These workers and their communities deserve a future.
Bought my mum tickets to Devil wears Prada musical thinking I wouldn’t have to go. I was wrong. Your prayers and solidarity are welcome at this trying time.

“It's whittled down to one tablet a day.”
This is a significant act but delivered as Kevin would like it to be treated – as just another long term condition like many others.
Well this blows the Rutherglen by-election out the bloody water!
Proud of @aidanmarshall.bsky.social who is going to be a brilliant councillor for his hometown.

Care workers do an incredible job, and they deserve to be paid properly and treated fairly.
That means being able to afford to take time off when sick - not spreading illness or falling into debt.
Great to join our members in HC One on their “Sick of SSP” campaign day. 🤒
