1. I read a study that hinted at this over a year ago. Although the overall individual risk seems to be small, there will be impacts at the population level. The effects of pathogens are an inconvenient truth for MAHA.

Regarding the UK/US trade deal there is something called Country of Origin Labelling, which US negotiators are very angry about; they do not want safety warnings on their food products, which may put off potential UK customers from buying them.

I wonder if @niassembly.bsky.social or the Health Department are monitoring staff sick leave/early retirement/retention figures.

Perhaps FFP2 respirators should be mandated for staff to protect them and their patients.

When people say they don’t know anyone with long COVID that’s not the case. We all know someone. Do you have friends with a lingering chronic cough? Pulmonary embolism? Heart problems? POTS? Fatigue they can’t shake, brain fog? 🧵
