I was a self proclaimed filmmaker and social commentator on tiktok, made a following of 800+ users by reporting things as they were happening… alot of peoples lives were changed because of tiktok, the platform had 2.05 billion users…

It's a bit awkward seeing people dunking on tiktok users and acting like they're being overdramatic when

Those same people were... I don't know, acting a certain kind of way about having to rebuild here after leaving Twitter

Which was also a much different scenario than what's happening to tiktok

I garnered 800 followers as a filmmaker/ social Commentator in the last 4 days of tiktok, Was even being (falsely) reported for posting gore, alcohol abuse, and misinformation, none of which I actually did, was just reporting on events as they occurred.

Liking this post until someone comes in and comments an answer.

Social media monopolies conducting open air insider trading, downright illegal actions and not being prosecuted for it was not on my 2025 bingo card.

Yeah no, Right when I started on speaking up about it too, got 800+ followers just for them to snatch it away.

The recent tiktok ban also affects Capcut, So just be blanket banning an app, I’ve lost the ability to competently create content until I find an alternative, stay tuned.
