They’re killing people as a twitter joke. It’s depraved. Can’t let yourself lose the capacity to be appalled and disgusted and outraged by this.

THATS EXACTLY WHAT EUGENICS WAS.
And the fact that this dipshit Sadeghi is talking about IQ points is even more evidence he is a eugenicist. Can we stop with physicians and techbros pretending things aren't eugenics when its blatantly eugenics?
Agents in Key Largo, Florida ripped this woman wearing medical scrubs out of her car as she screamed she is a US citizen. Agents cuffed her and put her in one of their cars.
She was eventually let go, per David Goodhue of the Miami Herald, who also took this footage:
Need to work out how to change that thumbnail!!

I suspect so, yes. Really interested to see how other people find it as the realities start to kick in.

I think my overall worry is that lots of what was lost in the knowledge turn is not really restored in the CAR. There’s certainly some good come from the change but also a lot of unexpected (for some) consequences too.
Ofsted is a bigger wildcard. Think it could be Ok but depends on interps
No, the broader status quo. Share concern that languages may well take a nose dive

Super interested to see what the overall response will be.

More emotional than I thought this morning. After 13 months of trying and trying, my 8yo has finally finished her swimming gold award. She got the 800m swim in 25 mins some 9 months back and ever since has been pushing to swim 100m in less than 2:30. Finally did it today!

H: In ten thousand years, this house won’t be here…
Me: Probably not
H: But if I built a circle of stones in the garden… an archaeologist might find it and know we were here.
Me: Sounds like a project!!
Always fascinating how she historicises herself
Think it’s also because the tribal nature of it all HAS transferred. So new people tend to feel on the outside and struggle to break through unless a big name notices.

Some quick pointers for the government
🚨Asylum seekers are not, by any measure, "illegal migrants"
🚨The latest immigration stats have pretty much nothing to do with this government
🚨It's a genuinely weird flex to boast about making the country you govern less attractive
www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...
We can all look at Trump and say "that won't happen here" but it can, and it does. We are already seeing the government increase raids, remove people with no regard for their rights or protection, suspend applications for asylum based on nationality etc. We're very close to where US is at. #r4today
28.11.2025 06:54 — 👍 39 🔁 13 💬 3 📌 0Predictable that Trump would use this to demonise and punish whole groups.
Racists don't need excuses, but it makes it easier for them to discriminate against people if they can find one. Don't think this couldn't happen in UK, we are already dangerously close.

Staggered that we are happy to let companies and AI sell out artists for nothing and rip off all kinds of work. Yet last year I got fined over £700 for using a photo from the Gov website on a blog which got about a dozen views something like 12 years ago. There is a massive disparity here #r4today

I am not sure what the tipping point will be now, but AI has all the same risks in amplifying dangerous content for children. Unlike Google though it will happily find it for them. All those noises Labour made about Netflix Adolescence and yet they’re pushing more AI into education
