I have nothing but respect for Pete, but I disagree with his statement that egg prices are "a real issue" for "most Americans." It's a distracting shiny object.

Who are those people? Everyone I know who talks about egg prices only does so as a way of pointing out that the orange thug hasn't brought them down. It's not a big worry for anyone I know. The future of our society is.

No it isn't. Trampling of the Constitution is. Destroying functional government and safety net programs are. If we're talking about eggs we fell for their trap.
