top free news apps - reddit, x, nextdoor, citizen, substack, quora - april 2024 - app store
How do 'iUsers' prefer to get the news?
According to the App Store, Reddit, X, Nextdoor, Citizen, Substack, and Quora are among the top 10 free iPhone apps in news.
Established news outlets like MSNBC, Fox, CNN, WSJ, CNBC, and AP appear further down the list.
There are excellent review posts on YouTube so that makes sense. But TikTok? Hmmm.

Why wouldn't you want your site to be searchable?
They knew it was wrong several classes before. But they didn't correct it even though new lab guides were printed out for each class.
How many field techs had gone back out in the field either not knowing how to read that logic correctly or thinking they were incompetent?
Inexcusable. Fix it!
And if they teach inaccurate information that is a very bad thing. Accuracy is important.
I still remember how annoyed I was when I ran a lab project 3x during an IBM training because I could not get the answer in the lab guide.
When questioned, the teachers said, "oh yes, the answer is wrong".
This is a good thing for content creators, especially those who are subject matter experts and write as a human (not just spitting out AI-generated content).

At least one attorney is already in hot water for submitting inaccurate information an AI generated citing cases that never existed.
I use Perplexity. It is usually accurate, although yesterday it gave an answer it couldn't attribute to anywhere.
When it is wrong, follow-up questions can get to the right answer if current data exists online.
