I've now realised Vibe Coding can help overcome such early struggles, and help people get and keep interested in programming. And because of that I think it's a Good Thing™. (8/8)

2 years ago, the young daughter of a friend asked me to teach her some programming basics. I struggled to find a good entry that quickly gives satisfying results, like I had in the 80s with BASIC & some graphic programming. It got boring for her pretty soon, so much work for so little result. (7/8)

(Also, I think it's a blessing to get rid of a lot manual tasks by asking an AI to do them, so I can focus on the program structure and design.) (6/8)
