Year 2 of my NIMH F31 was supposed to have started yesterday. An award that I was proud to have funded on the first submission (13th percentile), which supported my dissertation research on eating disorders in adolescents, and which funded my tuition, stipend, and health insurance for the past year.

My 13 (!!!) years at Drexel meant the world to me, shaped me into who I am today, and gave me some of the best and closest relationships in my life. Plus, I've gotten to work with the most amazing trainees (who I'll continue working with!).

If you had told me two years ago I was going to leave Drexel, I would have called you crazy. But, things change and I couldn't be excited for this new opportunity working as a researcher in a large children's healthcare system! I'll be bringing my projects and my team with me.
