that’s why I made AM64 in the first place. SMG4’s denaturing gave me partial motivation that I can do the series in a better (not really) way. smg4 shaped my life man, and though I hate to admit it, I actually feel partially emotional over it.

I don’t think I watched too consistently, but I stopped right at the start of the Waluigi Arc, and only picked it back up the week before the REVELATIONS movie.

I’ve seen smg4 just… fade away from its former glory day by day since then. I thought there would surely be a balance between old and new.

I don’t think y’all know how much smg4 ending is affecting me on the inside.

I remember first discovering this channel back in (I think) 2016, before Meggy even existed, and thought it was the funniest shit at the time. The classic era just hit the spot in terms of comedy to me.

I’m honestly considering cutting out the SMG4 recolours for my future vids. main reason being is cuz I actually just don’t find them fun to try and improvise into episodes anymore.
plus I want to keep to my promise of “SMG4 -> mario comedy” from the beginning of 2025.

p.s.: if ur one of those people that prefer the shit Gmod era ironically or unironically please stop watching that shit. actually gets me demotivated seeing people prefer the content farms over actual effort.

like the writing and editing on not just that vid but every other one beforehand is trash. it is awful. It’s like modern smg4 except on a worse scale.
that’s why REMASTERED64 exists on my channel: to fix up all the slop I made during that era, for better or worse.
