I am not surprised. In educational contexts there’s a taboo on using ai to enhance your work.

Ai generates but in its search journey to collect information to base its answers on, it doesn’t discern between reliable and unreliable sources. Humans will always be needed

Finding my niche in a topic that’s been exhausted before it even fully evolved is exciting work! Is this my path? Just to fill the time until I can quit my job and live from my non-AI assisted creative writing, of course 😏

I just finished the first draft of my manuscript. I’m kind of light headed and my hands hurt from typing. Now to revise into infinity. Luckily my deadline is only early next week and an international friend is visiting over the weekend. It’s fine. I’ll be fine. Right?

Current word count for today: 2835. Impressed by myself. And I have 2,5 hours of unterrupted writing time ahead of me. If I can keep myself focused, that is.

300 word sin. Made pr-material for choir and set up some actions to follow up on this week.

I don't actually want to calculate just how much time goes into my volunteering every week 😅

I think 2.500 is more realistic, considering it's a race day, but we'll see how it goes.

As both a non-fiction and fiction writer (3rd novel in the works) I think I can honestly say I have a healthy reluctance when it comes to embracing AI. So how does it work? *Can* we make it work? And can it be done in a way that does not make unreasonable demands from our already fragile planet? 2/2

Where does authenticity end and computer work begin? How do we foster our own unique voice in the stories we want to tell? Is there a place for AI in this process at all? @topgold.bsky.social and I are exploring this exciting avenue for #iceri2025. 1/2

There’s countless avenues we can go down. It’svaluable to mention them and create a mind map for it, have the people joining our workshop contribute to it. That way we can map what interests are priority.
