It does not eliminate federal tax on SS benefits. The deduction goes away after 2028. All the tax cuts to billionaires and corporations are permanent. It doesn't talk about all of the safety net programs that will be severely cut or eliminated. It blocks Biden rule to require minimum staff to care for nursing home patients. Approves more spending to deport immigrants - people who do this care now. Does not provide tax break for family caregivers. Does not enhance tax free savings that could be used to pay for long-term care. Bad provisions delayed until Dec 2026 - after congressional elections - attempt to game the next election. Provider tax curbs delayed until 2028 - another attempt to game elections. I do not trust anything that comes from this administration. Maybe when all this hits enough people they will finally understand how badly they were deceived by a criminal and corrupt group of people who seek to usurp all power and wealth for themselves. Unfortunately, I probably won't live long enough to see if this is corrected.
