“Over my 8-week placement, I gained confidence in the lab, learned new techniques & deepened my interest in the gut microbiome. It was exciting & rewarding to contribute to real research.”

Conor worked on “Isolation and characterisation of Bifidobacteria from infant fecal samples.” His research will help future studies on the gut microbiome & its role in human health.
