The National Guard has arrived in Los Angeles, but they were not requested by California. Both Governor Newsom and Mayor Bass made it clear that the state did not authorize or want federal troops deployed.

Low income neighborhoods in Urban areas are equally lacking in internet, let alone fast internet. Seattle has tried to rectify that by installing free internet into those areas, but it’s been slow going at best.
