One of the cooler additions to my collection lately has been Desperate Oasis. Really fun two player tactical card game played over three rounds. Tiny box with a great amount of gameplay within. Also look at the Oryx’s power!

The Xenoblade Chronicles collection continues to grow!

Finished up making every Gunlance and Hunting Horn. Took awhile as I was cursed with low hunter symbol drops. Going to try learning Bow and Dual Blades for fun next.

I’ve been averaging 4 hours of sleep a night all this week. I’m really starting to feel it. Just have to get through work and hopefully I’ll fall asleep tonight.

Super annoying, especially when I just want to go to sleep and I’m wasting so much time! Same, sometimes it just an annoying night and I can’t avoid it.

I know this feel. I walk multiple laps around my house every night checking all the doors way too many times.
Also making sure I didn’t magically turn the stove on since the last time I checked five minutes ago.

I will say despite all the optimization and monetization issues Monster Hunter Wilds is the most fun I’ve had since 4 Ultimate back in the day.

Also really happy I avoided spoilers because damn were there some great surprise monsters!

Don’t mistake me I’m super excited to dive into Wilds.
I just get a bit sour seeing a series I’ve loved since day one become another modern release. Three editions for no reason, poor optimization and being parted out to increase engagement.

Regardless of all this I know I’ll still love the game

I love Monster Hunter but the fact Capcom managed to turn not finishing making the game into “updates” to excite people baffles me.

Harmonies is a recent addition to my board game collection. I’ve been trying to get a few more smaller games lately and this one has really fit the bill.

I always get really bad contact embarrassment when I see a content creator screaming and (or) crying while watching a trailer.

I’ve decided that I want to try Hunting Horn alongside my main weapon Gunlance for Wilds. Here is my attempts during the last beta after a bit of pre stream practice to try and learn the weapon better.

I thought I had pretty good memory for Shining Force battles until I lined up the whole force on the laser eye bridge thinking it randomly targeted one person instead of the whole bridge ha ha.
Let’s just say it was a quick egress after the attack and the loss of most of the party.

Man do I love Shining Force!

I miss car combat games a lot. Specifically the Vigilante 8 series.

Just finished the demo for The First Berserker: Khazan
and I'm so glad they released a demo. I went from being pretty lukewarm to very excited for this release. I highly recommend you give it a download for yourself.

Yeah the intros and farming are brutal. Like I know I’ll never have many followers without doing that but it’s just not worth it to me to be that annoying and transparently attention seeking.

Starting a new playthrough of Shining Force on original hardware tonight on Twitch!

Yeah, once everyone got done talking about “twitter bad” they just kind of fell back into their old twitter habits. I’ve unfortunately had to mute a few people I liked because they just bulk post all day everyday to farm engagement.

I’ve also had to get into the habit of double checking new followers. Half the time it’s a bot or something that needs a block.

Do you have a game series you keep buying but just never get around to playing? For me it’s Xenoblade Chronicles. I just never seem to get around to them but I keep buying each instalment because I know one day I’ll go all in playing them.

It will be fun to see what new tricks they gave the old poison turkey. Also second beta!

Picked up both Nier games for PC the other day. I beat them both years ago on PS but just the idea of having them both portable through my Steam Deck was too good to pass up with the sales.
