Most current feats of automation like humanoid robots, self driving cars, autonomous delivery robots, chatbots for Internet services, and more not only don't work as well as they say they do, and mostly depend on huge underpaid and exploited workforces in the global south, as do LLM training data!

Huge generalist llms are not going to create agi, a superintelligent God AI that big ai corps are promising. The hallucinations are not something that can be gotten rid of or even improved upon meaningfully. But smaller purpose built algorithms are automating things that you couldnt in the past.

I think this is wrong when it comes to "AI" as its currently referred, but its true that more and more jobs are going to be automated and we need to be aware of that. But it doesnt really change what needs to be done. We need to tear down capitalism and imperialism. This only increases the stakes.

There is NO post game for pushing a boulder up a hill. It just rolls back down! But that does make for a compelling game loop

Sammi is like magic, its incredible what it lets you do with obs and streaming. but unfortunately it has basically been forcibly taken over by pro AI members of the team who it sounds like have already made huge mistakes. I'm excited to hear what landie has in store tomorrow.
