i think about it EVERY time a door get damaged in scifi lmfaoooo. so glad to have shown you this particular light.

the most important decision any mechanical engineer in star wars makes is whether, when damaged, the door opens or the door closes. it's a critical part of the design process. you must fully understand the context in which the door will be used, so you can make the least secure decision possible.
