Attendees wore dark uniforms with the NSN insignia stitched into the shoulders of their jackets. Some partially obscured their identities with hats or sunglasses. Many showed their faces, a sign of growing boldness by parts of organisation. Two NSN leaders spoke, criticising not only Jewish groups but Jewish people in general. They used a number of antisemitic tropes about power and influence while speaking in favour of authority of “the white man”. One speaker promoted a highly offensive and baseless claim about antisemitic attacks carried out this year, which this masthead has chosen not to repeat. At the end of the speeches the group chanted, “blood and honour”, a Hitler Youth motto.

If only we had some form of envoy or such tasked with, say, combatting antisemitism, maybe they could let us know their thoughts on this

To be clear, the climate crisis is really, really, really bad already. You should be scared and you should be fighting with everything you have.

No matter how bad it gets from here, it will be intolerable. We must throw everything we have at mitigation and adaptation to limit the damage.

I mean for fucks sake: "we're past the time when we should have been thinking about adaptation"?!

The fucking IPCC has had an entire working group, which has produced several, several-thousand-page reports summarising the state of the science on this for DECADES.
