I do not agree with much of how she handled OFA, but she should never have been treated like this.

The military doesn't kick actual criminals out of government housing this quickly.

Being fired from a command position is not the same as being kicked out of the military. It takes time and very specific requirements to remove someone from the service.

Often when people are "fired" from a specific job, they just end up hidden away somewhere else until they officially retire.

I've seen people continue to be paid AND housed on base for over a year while waiting to be processed out, but the Commandant couldn't have the 60 days that the Coast Guard gave her? This is someone intentionally trying to inflict pain for no reason.

Have you served with her? Do you have an idea of the type of person she is outside of the reactionary justification to firing her moments before she was supposed to be photographed with the president? Please, continue to believe that everyone else is overreacting.

I never said this was Trump. It's the political appointees and administration as a whole. Instead of letting the acting Commandant handle the situation, the administration decided that they knew better and chose to make a statement by making this as painful as possible. Completely unnecessary.
