I havent touched or watched any Midnight content yet so not sure where Arator heads. I can imagine itd be easy to make him very similar to anduin. The void/light motif with the tats and stuff is a bit on the nose but it has potential.

On a more positive note, I personally really like Dagrans character and am optimistic about Arator. I remember thinking, probably near a decade ago, about all the children of these classic characters and wondering where they'd end up. I feel like they're the bridge between wow past and present.

When MoP was announced all these same dudes lost their shit, saying the whole thing was a joke and now its cited as one of the best expacs. Like, cmon, fuck off.

Been in the world of Warcraft since The Frozen Throne. There is absolutely room for darker themes as well as more light hearted themes, always has been on blizzards end as well as fan content. Im still on the copium that the trilogy is meant to wrap up the loose ends that this previous lead writer had put in from the other game he developed. That metzen will bring back more core, traditional narratives after. Intentionally havent looked into midnight story yet but it doesnt sound great :(
