You could ease yourself into it with horror for kids, like goosebumps or courage the cowardly dog, but those are shows. Hocus pocus is also for kids, not very scary at all though. If you wanna dive into some classics i recommend hellraiser 1&2 no jumpscares really, just great 80s gore

These are horrible 'starter scary movies' because they HEAVILY play on tropes of other scary movies, which you wont totally get it you haven't seen them...
