Once your movie is in the can, there’s no greater relief for an indie producer than getting that first festival acceptance letter. My last film took a year to get accepted into anything, this one took a few weeks.

We can’t keep slashing our LAFD budget in favor of continuously over-inflating our LAPD budget. We need to create a budget to account for the effects of climate change that will rapidly destroy this city (and planet) if we don’t.

This is the worst fire I’ve seen in my 15 years of living in SoCal. Make sure batteries are charged, flashlights work, and you have water available. Power is going out all over the city and the worst winds are yet to come.

Finally got the inspiration I needed to fully delete my dormant Facebook page today. Just a totally dead, near-useless website at this point.
