We further show, thanks to brilliant in vitro work from Sujina Maharjan, that OsmoFold's predictions can inform how to optimally stabilize sensitive protein pharmaceuticals, with the potential to increase accessibility to medicine.

In the corresponding publication, we validate the accuracy of OsmoFold against published datasets, ranging from single proteins to entire proteomes.

My new tool, OsmoFold, is an open-source Python package designed to bridge this gap.

Physical chemistry theory has long enabled us to accurately predict the impact of small molecules on the equilibrium of two protein conformations, but there has been no framework developed for integrating these predictions into modern bioinformatic pipelines.
