Guess how we get those? via codes that tell the website/kickstarter/etc, "Hey see this link? X person shared this, so you should pay them out for their link." It's typically "?ref=" IIRC (1/3)

Yikes, had I known before backing, that would have probably changed my decision. If this is standard for Cubicle 7, though, I'm beyond disappointed, and glad I haven't pitched anything to them.
