The UCP's statement of defence is yet another chapter in the UCP's #CorruptCare saga.

Albertans deserve better.
We deserve answers.

And we won't have them until the Premier calls an independent, judge-led, public inquiry.

The UCP is implicated in the worst corruption this province has ever seen: Millions in taxpayer dollars funneled to UCP insiders, political pressure to rig contracts, and a Minister of Health refusing to answer questions.

Albertans deserve better. We need answers. Now.

The rando staffers they met were basically stacked kids in a trenchcoat. If that’s all they could get for all that money AB and ON spend, the Premiers should have taken a pass on the meeting and done a media tour instead.

This outcome is embarrassing. Makes us look weak. Provincial, even.

One question, one follow-up was a COVID invention. We couldn't scrum properly, so that's how govt ran phone press conferences.

Now govt uses it to limit reporters' ability to press officials. It is govt control over media. That's why I don't like the mic system. Bring back proper scrums.
