Utter contempt and disrespect from Bruce McAllister.

Cutting off the kid's mic and limiting his freedom of expression is one thing, but saying he should be spanked is a fireable offense from a supposedly neutral moderator. Bruce needs to be removed immediately.

Does anyone know of someone in YEG that has a cool backyard shed that they use for other purposes besides storage (art studio, office, sewing room, etcโ€ฆ)?

For a story.

Thanks.

Alberta Next Panel Albertans need a direct say in how to strengthen our sovereignty within a united Canada. Taking action will protect our province from Ottawa's continued attacks on Albertaโ€™s economic wellbeing.

Everyone keeps asking how I got IN to the Alberta Next town hall last night. Itโ€™s not hard people. You just register via eventbrite (2wks before). You do have to give your real name and have to show ID at the door. BUT ANYONE CAN (and IMO) SHOULD GO!

I was at tonightโ€™s event. The whole thing is a very thinly veiled propaganda โ€œindependent Albertaโ€ scheme. Micโ€™s cut/no answers for anyone with opposing views, supporters left to go on way past their allotted 45 seconds.

Nation building projects I suggest:

1. Clean drinking water in every Indigenous territory

2. East-West electricity grid

3. More rail infrastructure & public transportation connecting communities to all major cities.

4. Youth Climate Corps

5. Geared -to-income run housing.

I just announced that I am leaving Meta. Here is my note:

As I mark my 30th year as an attorney and nearly three decades of advocating for civil rights, I've decided it's time for me to embark on my next professional adventure. My journey at this Company has been an incredible chapter in my life, and I'm grateful that Mark and Sheryl gave me this opportunity.

I was drawn to this Company because of its vast reach and potential to make a meaningful impact on the lives of billions. I wanted to be part of an effort that would bring about positive change, particularly for those who have been marginalized, oppressed and silenced. The opportunity to contribute to creating a more just and equitable world, even in a small way, has been a driving force for me.

I must acknowledge the complexity and challenges of our work. Building for everyone, listening to everyone, and meeting the needs and expectations of our global community is pretty much impossible. Yet, it's been an honor to work alongside so many diverse, talented, dedicated and passionate people. It would take too much time and space to name all of those who I enjoyed working with, so forgive me for not even trying.

I'm especially grateful for the Civil Rights Team whose tireless efforts, deep insight and unwavering optimism have inspired me every day. As team members continue their work in different orgs across the Company, I encourage you to seek them out and leverage their expertise.

BREAKING: Roy Austin, Metaโ€™s Vice President of Civil Rights and Deputy General Counsel, just announced his resignation and posted a note on LinkedIn.

Roy is a former Obama DOJ colleague; although his announcement note is very civil the timing doesnโ€™t seem coincidental.
