Oh, I never noticed they change the patterns - I thought they just added new ones on top of the old ones. pattern changing sounds kinda bad imo, but maybe there's a reason to do it

I am, but honestly I only play on easy modes, and rarely do more then one attempt on anything higher - I think the only one I tried running on a harder mode was Castle of Shikigami 3 on Wii lol.

Oh, that's good to know. I'm developing a shmup myself, so I'll have to take notes for sure.
