Everyone always complained that we don't need to talk about it in school as much as we did. "He was the bad guy, we get it" but that was never the lesson to be taken away. It was about understanding the signs. It was about when to pull the break.

I grew up in Germany, with all the historical baggage that comes along with that. People used to say "I would have stood up to them, I wouldn't have gone along". Little old teenage me always thought they were full of shit, but I'd love to be proven wrong. Now is the time.

I'm gonna be so fucking real right now I tried to not contribute to the doomscrolling on my art account but things have only been getting worse and worse. Honestly I'm not really sure what to add to the conversation that hasn't already been said.
