A few years ago I would have strongly agreed with you but after 27 years of living in Northampton I know I have picked up some language similar to this π€£π. I am a bit more chilled about it now than I was, language evolves. I don't like it though

It has left a horrible feeling, like having your emotions cheated. Really enjoyed the books (but not the film) and although I can't say this news is a surprise it is such a disappointment

We covered .... boys, parents, health, work, home, cool things on hills, Rachel Whitehead's casts of the voids under chairs, Crich Tower, the Pennine Way, long walks, nice bike rides, frustrating people, parkrun, dressing up as a crayon, selling houses, pubs, good places for breakfast, cooking ...

I shall look forward to seeing that! Great memories of staying there with Sarah when we walked Hadrian's High Way. I didn't stop there when I walked the Pennine Way, I stayed in Garrigill and then Slaggyford. South Tyne Valley is so lovely and quiet, underrated π

Got to be on the outskirts of Alston, possibly near the Youth Hostel? Weirdly I can smell the damp wood and am sure when I passed by I was having a wonderful time π
