I'm just back from volunteering at junior parkrun. I am not a huge fan of children - too loud, too germy - but it's the highlight of my week seeing their little faces

I always tell people it's more about community than anything else, the running is an add on. Particularly at the velopark - which people say is dull - you are always in sight of other people which is lovely if you are at the back 🥰

I was meeting and greeting at Torbay today. We stand by the gate in case first timers need anything, I spoke to a woman who was doing her first parkrun and she thanked me for my kindness in making her feel welcomed. That totally made my day 🥰

Can confirm that the late Sir Terry Wogan was a positive delight. He made time for any TOGs he came across 🥰

Briefly! Because I could bore you to death with naval history! After the battle of trafalgar a messenger was sent to England with news of the battle. He landed at Falmouth, the route he took to London is the trafalgar way, there are 25 parkruns on the route - end of the year I will be on 9/25

I think that is less likely than more as I get older, I am just grateful that I can still get out! I am plugging my way through the trafalgar way challenge so my next thing is a little pin badge! I'll be unbearable whenI get that!!

I think so! It will only go downhill for me as I really slow up in the warmth!
