Cork like. Artist, Historian, chef, retired and broken from rugby, occasional talking head on TV mainly about Gráinne Ní Mháille. Dilettante extraordinaire. Not fond of humans. Dog rescuer. PWD, GNC, nearing OAP, proudly Socialist, and absolutely Queer.

Antibiotics. Vaccines. Clean water/Sanitation.
The three Biggies.

Antibiotics - becoming ineffective due to over use (esp in the food chain).
Vaccines - vulnerable to systemic ignorance.
Clean water - interferes with profit margins.

Poor Chazzer just got dropped off at the vet to have a toe amputated due to an infected cyst that's not responding to antibiotics.

That's me useless for the day.

I once met an Irish woman, in her 40s, in a rural pub who had never, ever, experienced minding the nettles.
Needless to say she soon had a group of other Irish women acting out various techniques.

How the hell did she hit 40 without minding the nettles?

For years I foolishly thought 'powder room' was a 1940s colloquialism for the broads bog, but apparently it's not.
It's a complete room all by itself.
I must have one!

Cracker factories closed down across land.
Desperate bairns was sucking tofu like bampots.

It's all about the cleavage!!! 😏 (Yes — still stone)

Slate’s natural layers (slaty cleavage) give it strength — so we use only the best slate.

Each piece is hand-cut with our 160-year-old family slater’s knife.

Timeless. Hand-crafted. Built to last.

Of course not. The plan is to let it languish on the back burner while increasingly pathetic excuses are rolled out for why it hasn't been enacted.

Published two weeks ago - will keep posting here until there is another article supporting Irish neutrality published in a national paper.

Remember, a large majority of Irish people support neutrality and our President won the popular vote in large part due to her vocal position on neutrality.

I have a couch my sister got second hand when she got married in 1978. Going to have to get it refurbed soon. It's so comfortable I might demand to be buried on it.

Meanwhile sister on on couch number 457 or something.

It did turn into the usual Yankfest but it applies in every democracy.
Personally I won't vote for any one wishy washy about Zionism (never mind Pro-Genocide), TERFY, blames immigrants for everything, and says 'rural pursuits'.
Never have. Never will.
There's no such thing as 'lesser' evil.

Oh fuck. Three days - Christ that's hard.

I saw that with An Post. We usually send 12 boxes of cat food out to various TNR rescues across Ireland for Xmas but with the earlier date that's kyboshed. Can't afford the €100+ of postage costs so soon.

Yes.
By making 'turkey d'overs' which is essentially a puff pastry pasty containing diced leftover turkey, ham, spiced beef, plus potato stuffing.
Son has an order in for 24 on the 26th.
Personally I prefer turkey toasties but now the fecking pasties are 'tradition'.
