No one in Europe could possibly know what fascism feels like.

Listening to Donohoe and Chambers they are incapable of understanding people are struggling.

I think he genuinely believes he 'understands' and has no idea how people on less than a ministers salary plus generous expenses struggle.

For seasoned govt/media watchers, it was obvious this was going to be a feel bad budget.
But even I'm surprised at how much Ebenezer Donohoe screwed the 'people who get up early'.

I watched pretty much every broadcast on TV about the budget and on the whole we never got to hear any opposition bar Doherty.
Gibney finally had a say hours later, and she didn't hold back.
But remember, most TDs were only hearing the details for the first time in the Dáil.
