I live in Oregon now, but I spent a lot of time in Midland. My mother is literally a Texas farmer. She also grew up picking cotton in Louisiana under Jim Crow…. I like your message, but as a candidate trying to win a seat in the south as a Democrat, you can’t afford to turn off older Black people.

Why the cotton fields in the add? That alone may turn off some voters you need….

After counting votes and coming up short, we didn't move the package, but tried a last-minute bill to keep ODOT funded. Unfortunately, House Republicans used a procedural motion to block the bill, and the session came to an end. I am truly worried about road safety and maintenance throughout Oregon.

While there are still *many* issues that have been left wanting - and we had an unexpected fight from some Dems regarding preschool funding… Our representative showed up, advocated, and fought the good fight.

I was a NO vote on HB 1173. This is a bill that I belive to be horrible for hospital patients & families seeking justice.

I believe this law will lead to unnecessary injuries and deaths of hospitalized patients. Oregonians will now have little legal recourse when medication & equipment harm them.
