Mario kart world got it all. it got VP8, VP9, and just for flavor, also H264. Also there's imgui buried in there (probably just for dev builds realistically) and they've come to *love* Havok.

individual frames of AV1 before/after. VP9 seems to start to sacrifice data for the upcoming fade at the same time.

Something i noticed is that YouTubes AV1 encoding configuration seems to really despise your (and surely others) use of crossfades. Im sure bsky will fry this already rather compressed video but you can see it lose quality before the fade even begins. The VP9 encode is a lot less noticable.
