We have named our trees. Three of them are named after the fairies in Sleeping Beauty, the crape myrtle is Amanda after our cat whose ashes are buried at the base, and the last two are Woody and Groot.

I never know how to feel about this definition of the “American people.” If you’re not a mom or a dad, is everything being said just not applicable to you? Do they not care about you, or are they intentionally excluding you? I genuinely don’t know.

Suppose to get labs drawn in the AM for a follow up appointment next Wed. Just realized my referral for that doc expired in Dec. Plus my PCP is no longer in the practice so I will probably need to see his replacement before I can get the referral.

so I can’t just message him for the referral. Need to see the doc who has taken over. Ugh! The American health care system!

Well turns out I will probably not be getting labs drawn tomorrow because I just realized my referral for that doctor expired in Dec. and I didn’t think to check before tonight. To add to the fun, my PCP is no longer in the practice (was suppose to go on sabbatical in May but was gone end of Jan.)

out the hives on my infusion arm, she very calmly got up and let the nurses know I was having a reaction to the iron sucrose. Hoping for good news from Friday’s labs. First full blown allergic reaction I’ve had in my 46 years.

Hematologist put me on a 125 mg iron supplement that I’ve taken every other day since December. Having lab work on Friday to see if it has done anything. 🤞🏻

Lab work last year showed I was iron deficient. Hematologist scheduled 2 iron infusion after oral iron supplement didn’t raise levels (I have POTS and my cardiologist says this is common). Had anaphylactic reaction about 5 mins after first infusion infusion ended so 2nd infusion was canceled.

Great! The first 2 seasons recently were put on Netflix and the 3rd is currently airing on SyFy (and is probably on Peacock, too).

Me taking clothes out of the washing machine and finding my hand knit hat. Thankfully it looks OK. The manufacturer says the yarn is machine washable but recommends using a wash bag and washing on delicate. I washed it without a wash bag in a regular cycle with things like jeans.
