2) Most of the documentation is still missing.

Now that Asemulator is filled with features, there needs to be a reliable source of information covering everything that’s available.

This also includes working on example sprites, which are the best way to get started!

1) Aseprite’s API has improved significantly since my last post, and now include a few very important and needed features.

While some are still missing from the official stable version, it’s only a matter of time before they become available (likely around January).

First of all, Asemulator is officially feature complete! Which basically means it's ready for release.

As for the extension's development part itself, there's only one major feature left to implement, so we're slowly but surely reaching the end of it!

Onto the big question: How long before release?

There's still quite a lot of uncertainties, especially regarding unavoidable issues caused by missing API features on Aseprite's side, as well as marketing/selling related stuff I'll have to do.

So basically, I don't really know either haha

Quite flexible, packed with features, and (hopefully) accessible enough for everyone to have fun with.

#Asemulator update! v0.5.3 is now available :)

It includes "in-app" documentation, a new reload button for backgrounds, and a lot of bug fixes

The platformer template was also updated, don't forget to download it!
