I understand 100% because I too am working on my terror of snakes. My daughter helped a lot with that by being in a teen program at a local zoo, her handling snakes for guests to see was part of it. I have ophiophobia, but have gone from not even being able to see a picture, to being in the room.

My husband has done wild life rehab and he actually took in a baby brown bat that was injured until the bat could be relocated, I fell in love with him and tried to keep him. Hubby said we could not, because he is wild, but I miss that little guy.
