This way the browser presents the same cookie to the root and all subdomains of that domain.

@fractaledmind.bsky.social to produce our first course on Ruby on Rails.

Coming in February!
I find people can struggle coming to Livewire from Inertia/Vue. See my responses to @marty.friedel.au below on why I think that is.
TL;DR - Livewire components don't work the same way as you'd expect. And also Inertia/Vue might just suit you better, so it's great Inertia and Livewire both exist!

Screenshot of paragraphs of text using 1lh as the margin between them. Where 1lh stands for one unit of line height.
`margin-block: 1lh;` is such a better default for paragraphs of text than `margin-block: 1em;`
I highly recommend it.

I need it for some homework…
Today we saw a wild black bear during a spiritual retreat. It came down looking for food and grabbed a garbage bag to go.

Sonoff 3 gang white smart switch. This is the US version (120w). Each button has a small LED dot on the left side that indicates the state of the toggle: - No light means light is turned off. - Red color means the light is turned on. The middle button’s LED shows blue if the light is turned off, and it turns purple-ish if the light is turned on.
It just crossed my mind that I never posted a picture of the switch itself 🤦♂️
Well, here it is. The others should arrive before Christmas
Found the Hogwarts Legacy sale last minute and bought it without thinking twice.
First ~30min gameplay is really good, although Switch graphics aren’t the best, but really enjoyable nonetheless 👍
The reel is 150m long. The actual longest run is ~only~ about 37m.
Still, high enough for me to be afraid 🫣
Most of the equipment arrived today, and tested that the PoE switch works, the PoE splitters work, and that all cameras work as well.
Just need to wait for the Ethernet reel to start working.
Pretty excited to see how this will look like!
Will be doing PoE to simplify wiring. At the camera end, as they do not support PoE, I’ll put some PoE splitters.
Longest run is ~37m away (not straight line) from where my router currently is. Not too far away tbf.
Hopefully I can get an Ethernet Apple TV in the coming months 🤞

I’m using Scrypted, it works really good.
Tried go2rtc, but for some reason, cameras proxied through it do not support HKSV 😢
Lag isn’t that bad, but I still think I’ll be reaching the limits of how much a Wifi only Apple TV can handle as a home hub 😅
Now, waiting for my Ethernet patch kit and 150m of CAT 5e to arrive tomorrow. It’s going to be a fun week
