11.05.2025 16:23 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0My Dad just pointed me to this wild story. Photos are incredible. What a amazing time capsule. sfstandard.com/2025/01/12/l...

05.05.2025 21:22 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Apple TV+ is streaming an 8-hour remix of the Severance theme song that is perfect music for your innie to refine macrodata to. Legit adding this to the work music rotation. [kottke.org]
21.02.2025 22:34 β π 83 π 20 π¬ 2 π 3Really enjoy working with atproto. Level of detail in the JSON is fantastic and nicely structured!
Also moderation is sorta baked in.

09.02.2025 22:46 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Read books, not news.
Harder than it seems!
This was a fun one to build out! Bluesky/atproto is quite nice to work with π¦
31.01.2025 15:35 β π 7 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Yeah I love it. Quality is amazing. Plus, itβs not Spotify!

15.01.2025 17:19 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Hands-down the best job (and the longest) I've ever had! Grateful every day to be able to work on this with @justinjackson.ca and our incredible (small) team. 6+ years on, I still get to write code daily.
We have amazing customers and can't thank them enough for sticking with us and trusting us.
You forgot the part about me initially saying no (for months) and wanting to do it all solo because of being burned previously. glad I change my mind on that!
08.01.2025 13:01 β π 5 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Inside Llewyn Davis ends right where A Complete Unknown begins. Itβs the fictional prequel, and arguably the better film. But both are great.
01.01.2025 21:08 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Oh, yeah. I was more referring the bit of docs that seems to indicate that bulk sending limits are tied to the sending rate limit?
βThe number of destinations you can contact in a single call to the v2 API may be limited by your accountβs maximum sending rate.β
Bummer, we were going to look into using this at some point.
You can maybe request an increase of your max sending rate?
for the longest time I loved running without music or anything and just enjoyed being outside and soaking up my surroundings. not sure what changed! now I just want to zone out and go π€·ββοΈ

18.12.2024 16:42 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Really been enjoying audiobooks while running lately. Great for zoning out on longer runs. Used to run with music, then nothing for awhile, then podcasts. Now audiobooks. Currently loving "The First Law Trilogy" from @joeabercrombie.com. Fantastic story, and the narration is top-notch.
18.12.2024 16:00 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 3 π 0ah yes, I poked around with didkit shortly after and found what I needed! wiring things together and it's starting to make more sense. lots of moving parts, but I _think_ I'm starting to understand it.
18.12.2024 14:05 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0These are fantastic. Working with them now and making progress. Hopefully have feedback/PRs as well.
Is it possible to somehow resolve the PDS endpoint that a user should use for authenticated requests? the README references "boletus.us-west.host.bsky.network" but where does that come from?
Oh, excellent! Will dig in
13.12.2024 14:55 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Has anyone built a working OAuth flow for Bluesky/atproto in Ruby/Rails, or do I have to hack this together myself? It's definitely more involved that most OAuth implementations, and we'd really rather not just store people's Bluesky passwords, like most apps seem to be doing.
13.12.2024 14:18 β π 9 π 0 π¬ 3 π 0Don't forget about weirdos like me who enjoy the challenge of fixing a thing, but don't want to change careers! π
My brother is the same way. Probably got it from my Dad and Grandpa.
Then again, I also have my limits.
