I'll push back a little there, especially with a lot of current Euro superstars. Every player is different, and guys develop at different rates

Pastrnak, Kucherov, Barkov, and Draisaitl didn't exactly fill scoresheets regularly in their first 100-150 games in the NHL

Anaheim Ducks 2025-26 National Broadcast Schedule Released The NHL and broadcast partners in the United States (ESPN and TNT networks) have released their schedule of exclusive broadcasts for the 2025-26 season.

The Anaheim Ducks will be featured in five exclusive nationally broadcast games:

11/11 at Colorado Avalanche (TNT)
12/3 vs Utah Mammoth (TNT)
1/13 vs Dallas Stars (TNT)

I don't think his appearance there is an indication one way or the other. It's basically a glorified photoshoot. However, I would guess he'll at least start the season in the NHL, and the team will reassess after nine games

Don’t expect Roger McQueen, Eric Nilson or any of the Ducks’ other NCAA prospects to be at rookie camp, the rookie tourney or training camp.

NCAA players never participate in the rookie tourney in almost all circumstances.

I get where you're coming from, but imo the eye test from last year doesn't match the underlyings and the Ducks have been analytically one of the worst 5v5 teams, so I (potentially foolishly) elect for a grain of salt

Looking at all NHL team depth charts, McTavish is comfortably a 2C

He's far from the defensive liability he was in 2023-24, showing great improvement in coverage, especially

7-8 million will soon be what 5-6 million is now on a cap percentage basis

He, along with the rest of the roster, has been in a poor environment and has improved year after year
