Hers have good intentions, at least, but because she's pushing it more for herself than him, it gets all twisted up in her selfishness. Instead of her usual attempts of sincerity in her actions.

I'm wrapping this up, its been too long already. That's mainly what I've been thinking anyway.

Maybe it was inevitable, seeing as Charlie's the daughter of the King of Pride, that Pride was the wings she flew too close to the sun on and got burned.

It kept her from listening. It kept her from realizing that she's exploiting Angel's redemption the same way he's always been exploited.

Pt 9
Then it all goes ass end up when Angel walks in... because who better to prove redemption?

Charlie's whole complicated, messy, emotional tragedy waiting to happen doesn't even register Vaggie's caution or Angel's discomfort. She's so focused on being right and proving herself.

I believe that also bleeds into Ep 4 and her still chasing the idea of "correcting" a bad view of the hotel and herself. Her ego took a blow and her Pride is up in arms about it. Thus, she turns to bitch, Katie Killjoy.

That's not episode 3 though.

Charlie's been proven right. Everything she's put into this, enduring the ridicule and hate, has now been vindicated. To her. She's so desperate to be validated. To prove herself to others. That it's almost a panic response when Vox and Vel are about to leave and she offers to redeem someone.

Pt 7
What does lay squarely on her shoulders though comes at the expense of Angel. Unfortunately.

As stated, Charlie has been through an emotional ringer in the last (estimated) few hours. Her Pride and ego have been boosted, I think, even beyond what we saw in Season 1.

Pt 6
Should Charlie have known better? Yes. Should she have listened to Vaggie? Yes. Should she have listened to Angel? Hell yeah.

After watching the episode again, I highly doubt Charlie thought the Vees themselves would come to the hotel. Doesn't make that part BETTER but not exactly her fault.

Pt 5
Charlie's excitement and Pride is absolutely justified here. She should be proud of the hotel and want to celebrate the success. And knowing how the Vee's media has hounded her I don't even blame her for wanting to boast about it on Vox's network. She's running on a high at this point.

Pt 4
It starts off badly. I mean emotional stability-wise. Charlie is clearly suffering from depression, guilt, grief, lack of sleep, ect.

Then WHAM emotional whiplash. In the span of a few seconds she goes from the lowest low to upper tier cloud 9. Your craziest dream has come true.

Pt 3
Its not supposed to be a raving thing. I've thought about it, watched a few videos talking about it, on both sides. No matter what else was covered everyone agrees that Charlie was a trash friend. No arguing there. However, as much as that's undeniably true, I believe theres so much underlying.

Pt 2
In the last few days what I hated most, beyond Charlie letting her Pride run away from her, is seeing all the Charlie-haters out there. Bragging "I always hated her"or "Such a bad character" like they're so justified. They'll never let this go now, no matter Charlie's growth, or any nuance.
