Finally employed again after a long period of feeling useless. Glad to finally be on my way to making money again especially with economic storm clouds on the horizon.

The amount of rejection emails I’ve gotten with no interviews in the last year or my life is ridiculously demoralizing.

Wild coming from the industry that I came from how the rules have seemingly and totally changed. If you were a referred to a position by somebody within the company, it used to be that you at least HAD to interview a candidate before rejecting them for a job.

Might be closing in on a new corporate talent acquisition/recruiting job. After doing odd jobs and gig work for a good year or so…I’m ready for my life to somewhat return to normal.

Biggest gripe I have would probably be the lack of punchy-ness and weight to the weapons and strikes in the game.

Played a little bit of Marvel Rivals tonight! Although I’m a little sick of the hero shooter multiplayer genre, I had a decent amount of fun in my 5 games I played. I love me some Marvel, so the IP is doing a ton of heavy lifting but the art and look of the game is SO good.

I’m just going to throw in a recommendation for FF6! Great story and great characters. Played through it for the first time last year and it instantly became a Top 10 favorite of mine.

Same! Love the original series but I feel l feel like Brotherhood just wraps everything up in a tighter story.

For sure! I’ll have to give it a try now. I do love the idea that Sony will hopefully revisit platformers as a genre. I would love for the industry in general to make more fun, mascot platformers again!
