5 yrs ago, we were a few months into the deadliest public health crisis of our lifetimes and Pres Trump was lying about or ignoring Covid-19.

Today, White America proudly embraces the lie that Covid was somehow political—and Project 2025 fully destroys U.S. public health infrastructure as a result.

Pro tip: don’t use minorities in your life as props in an argument with strangers. You should google “how to be a better ally” and study your ass off. You are doing it all wrong, big guy.

Please understand, U.S. slavery was never “abolished,” much less outlawed.

The 13th Amendment openly permits human enslavement, as punishment for [any] crime.

“The land of the free” and so-called Rule of Law have always been lies.

The nation’s ongoing slavery practice is one of many examples. 🇺🇸

My heart is with everyone impacted by the devastating floods across Texas—those who have lost loved ones & those still searching.

Many of the impacted families are from right here in Dallas. We’re mourning with you and praying for comfort, healing, & peace in the days ahead.

TX-30 stands with you.

Vice President Harris and Douglas Emhoff watch fireworks at the White House on July 4, 2024.

This Fourth of July, I am taking a moment to reflect. Things are hard right now. They are probably going to get worse before they get better.

But I love our country — and when you love something, you fight for it. Together, we will continue to fight for the ideals of our nation.

There are still currently only 2 parties to vote on. If more progressives participate at the local level, we could shift the whole party’s ideology. Everything else is just distractions that help the Christian nationalist status quo. Convos like this help, but not as much as LOCAL participation.

If the Supreme Court thinks universal injunctions are unconstitutional, to wait until *now* to say that, in this of all cases, with this of all presidents, is a devastating indictment of both its impartiality and its prudence.

Just because U.S. news media continues to shift focus to any number of other disasters, does NOT mean I.C.E. has stopped kidnapping people, all over the country—they have not.

These unconstitutional, openly violent GOVERNMENT actions will continue indefinitely and will reach your area, soon enough.

The best way to reduce the cost of Medicaid is to name and shame big employers that pay their full time employees so little, they qualify for Medicaid

Thanks for your vote of confidence…I guess?!

Unlike you, I’d actually be focused on the American people—the issues they’re facing, making sure folks have healthcare, and consulting with Congress before dropping bombs on another country.

12 The majority's contention that I reject "pure textualism' [a]s insuf-ficiently pliable to secure the result [I] seek," ante, at 10, stems from an unfortunate misunderstanding of the judicial role. Our interpretative task is not to seek our own desired results (whatever they may be). And, indeed, it is precisely because of this solemn duty that, in my view, it is imperative that we interpret statutes consistent with all relevant indicia of what Congress wanted, as best we can ascertain its intent. A methodology that includes consideration of Congress's aims does exactly that— and no more. By contrast, pure textualism's refusal to try to understand the text of a statute in the larger context of what Congress sought to achieve turns the interpretive task into a potent weapon for advancing judicial policy preferences. By "finding" answers in ambiguous text, and not bothering to consider whether those answers align with other sources of statutory meaning, pure textualists can easily disguise their own preferences as "textual" inevitabilities. So, really, far from being "insuffi-ciently pliable," I think pure textualism is incessantly malleable that's its primary problem-and, indeed, it is certainly somehow always flexible enough to secure the majority's desired outcome.

J. Ketanji Brown Jackson is the smartest Supreme Court justice—by far.
Her Honor’s recent dissent is required reading—especially Footnote 12, wherein Her Honor calls out her supposedly originalist colleagues.

This case/footnote will be assigned to law students.⚖️ www.supremecourt.gov/opinions/24p...

White America wants to return to a time when Black people were seen but never heard from.

They want our music, athletic prowess, fashion, food and culture.

But White America absolutely detests Black people.

Not an overt hatred, because “racism” is taboo to them—but their votes tell their story. 🇺🇸

Lawyer, here. Habeas corpus (pls Google it) applies to every human on U.S. soil, regardless of citizenship.

Put plainly, habeas corpus has been eliminated, for all practical purposes.

I’ve personally spoken to many who’ve been arrested/caged, 100% unaware of what law they’re thought to’ve broken.🇺🇸

Today I.C.E. kidnapped Mr. Edgar Hernández while he was selling flowers.
- #ICE agents faces covered
- unmarked car
- no visible names/badge numbers
- refusal to provide same when citizens demanded
Folks please understand, habeas corpus & due process have been suspended.

This is domestic terrorism.

That’s definitely coming soon. Project 2025 was NOT coy about this. I tried to warn y’all!

Old enough to remember when Trump and Republicans said tariffs wouldn’t affect prices for the American customer.

Now, Trump is insisting Walmart should just “eat” those increase costs, lose money, and NOT pass that loss on to the consumer via raised prices—like every economist knew they have/will.

Crockett: Instead of the President cosplaying as the next pope, he may want to cosplay as an actual President of these United States. That means he may have to do a little bit of research and understand that he swore a an oath to defend and protect the constitution.

RFK Jr. asks CDC for new measles treatment guidance amid his unfounded claims Kennedy claimed that drugs like budesonide and clarithromycin "have been shown very effective" for measles, but doctors say they don't fight the infection itself.

‘Kennedy told reporters that there were "many, many good ways to treat measles and doctors need to know that and to know those methods.’

One problem; there is no treatment for measles. Signed, a doctor who’s been forced to deal with measles because of this stupid fraud.
