I really enjoyed this! Thank you @mkennedy.codes for inviting me on the show.

Our conversation included refactoring notebooks, testing notebook-derived code, and changing your mindset when you're moving to production code.

There's also a book giveaway - see the show notes to enter!

I'm heading to #PyConUS! I'm excited to present a talk on best practices for moving from Jupyter notebooks to Python scripts that scale.

And thanks to the awesome folks at @oreilly.bsky.social I have 10 copies of "Software Engineering for Data Scientists" to give out. I'll share details at my talk.

Oh yeah! I think my book would be great for this! If you find that there's anything missing, or anything that's not clear, I'd really appreciate hearing about it (hopefully there'll be a 2nd edition sometime!)

I’m spending some time doing consultancy work and side projects while I look for a new full-time position. I’m looking for a Python developer role where ML/data science experience is a plus - if you hear of anything interesting, please send it my way!

Hello Bluesky! A quick introduction/reintroduction and update from me. I’ve been in data science for a while but now I’m exploring the space between data science and software engineering. I’m a Pythonista, author and public speaker.
